Installation manual

  1. Locate the Air Filter Housing
    Open your refrigerator and find the air filter compartment. It is usually located in the back panel or near the top inside the fridge.
  2. Remove the Old Filter
    • Press the release tab or rotate the old filter counterclockwise (depending on your model).
    • Pull out the old air filter and dispose of it properly.
  3. Insert the New Filter
    • Align the new filter with the slot.
    • Push it in until it clicks into place or twist it clockwise if your model uses a rotating mechanism.
  4. Reset the Air Filter Indicator
    • Some Whirlpool models have an air filter indicator light.
    • After installing the new filter, press and hold the “Air Filter Reset” button for 3 seconds until the light turns off or resets.
